Long time no update.

Well my bow making is currently on a hiatus. I have very little free time to myself to make bows these days. So now that my daughter is getting older... instead of making bows for others to buy, I'm selling the gently used bows that I don't put on my daughter anymore. Ask me for details if you're interested. :)

TADA! Pictures!

I know this blog looks pretty sloppy at the moment, but i'm going to piece it together soon. For now, i thought i'd update with some pictures of bows I made recently! I found my SO's camera, so i took some good pictures with it.
Enjoy, and if your interested in purchasing any, leave a comment and i will be happy to let you know the price.

No camera. =[

So i'd really like to get some pictures of my bows on here... but for some reason the memory card for my camera isn't being recognized by my laptop... so i'm going to have to search for my SOs camera... its much fancier, so i don't mind much.. but finding it is the hard part.
I've made SOO many cute bows over the past few days.... i know the quality sucks, but heres a few i've made that i took pics of with my phone.

As for this last one, i just got done making it... its a Halloween bow obviously. although i'm too tired to attempt to get a decent picture of it, its pretty much my favorite bow ATM. its about 3 inches across, i can't wait for halloween to come so i can put it on Juliette!
I have a bunch of those little spiders, so i'm going to have to make a bunch more halloween bows and attempt to sell them before halloween. That can be a good goal for me.... Get my bows up for sale in time for halloween!!!

To Do:
[ ] Find camera/take pictures of bows
[ ] Make business cards
[ ] Take bows to consignment stores to possibly sell there...?
[ ] Buy a shipping scale and boxes to ship bows
[ ] Make more Halloween bows
[ ] Make more bows in general!!

Prologue

Tuxedo bow - the first bow i made
2" Triple layer w/ spikes
6" quad layer w/spikes
One of my first attempts at a stacked boutique bow

I gave birth to my very first child on August 6th 2010, a baby girl. Since day one my little girl has been a "bow head." I thought it would be only appropriate for me to make the bows myself, since I am a STAHM and don't have much to do while my daughter naps during the day.
So after doing a little research, I took a trip to wal-mart and got a majority of the supplies i would need to start making bows.
At first i didn't know much about bow making, so i watched a lot of you tube tutorials.. eventually i got the basic concept down, and started getting creative with my bows.
Above are a few of the first bows i made.
